This 68 Charger is a shop-owned project, which we're currently enjoying driving the heck out of. Its a 383-powered 4-speed riding on 20" Centerlines with Nitto drag radials in the back on 11" wide rims. Originally green with black vinyl top and interior, it will soon be a super-clean custom with a wild paint job.

Its time to begin the build... In addition to replacing a large percentage of the sheetmetal, the car will also get many custom tweaks. Of utmost interest will be a channeling of the body over the factory frame members... and exercise in showing how low a Mopar can go without a custom tube chassis. We'll also raise the wheel arches, probably bulge the quarters and widen the tail panel. This in addition to the usual shaving of drips and trim. We'll probably keep the side markers and maybe the door handles, as removing them has become a little too common and expected. A custom tail panel treatment is in order, but will retain the cool 68 Charger cues.
